About
The Cake Box Southport is an independent cake business based on Market Street in Southport, specialising in handcrafted cakes and treats for all kinds of occasions.
The business was started by Lauren in 2020, initially baking from home during lockdown for family and friends. What began on a small scale quickly developed into a full-time business, eventually leading to the opening of The Cake Box shop in Southport, where the cakes are now baked and decorated.
The Cake Box creates cakes and seasonal treats for celebrations throughout the year, including birthdays, weddings, christenings, Easter, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween and Christmas.
Orders can range from smaller creations to larger celebration cakes, with Lauren happy to consider a wide variety of requests and designs. Around a week's notice is recommended when ordering, although last-minute requests may sometimes be accommodated depending on availability.
