Windmill Animal Farm is a family visitor attraction on Fish Lane in Burscough, Lancashire, offering animal encounters, indoor and outdoor play and activities for families.
The Slinger family have lived at the farm since 1938, originally farming dairy cattle and sheep, before opening Windmill Animal Farm to visitors in 1992. Today, visitors can meet and feed a variety of farm animals and rare breeds, enjoy hands-on animal experiences and explore both indoor and outdoor play areas.
Attractions include Farmyard Friends, Cuddly Critters, the Lambing Barn, adventure and soft play areas, and the farm's miniature railway, which runs for more than a mile to Lake View Station. The farm also hosts seasonal activities and events throughout the year.
